Oklahoma City native and Oklahoma Film ICON Mike Mitchell, director of Shrek Forever After, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, will pull back the curtain to explore how animated feature films are made, with a focus on his most recent smash hit, Trolls. A screening of Trolls will immediately follow, along with a Q&A hosted by former Oklahoma film commissioner Bud Elder.
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy played by Anna Kendrick, the happiest Troll ever born, and the curmudgeonly Branch played by Justin Timberlake, set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Their mission is full of adventure and mishaps, as this mismatched duo try to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.
