Drawing inspiration from the works featured in Postwar Abstraction, this activity explores the dynamic world of texture and abstraction. Using plaster, participants will apply it randomly to a canvas panel, creating a unique textured surface. Once the plaster has dried, they will use acrylic paints to add color and dimension, transforming the textured canvas into their own one-of-a-kind abstract masterpiece

ABOUT DROP-IN ART
Every third Saturday from 11 am-4 pm, Museum visitors are welcome to join us for Drop-In Art activities related to exhibitions on view! These come-and-go activities are suitable for all ages and provide a perfect opportunity for visitors to connect with the galleries and tap into their creativity.
