In the 1960s and 1970s, artist Willem de Looper explored painting without the use of brushes and instead created works of art by pouring layers of thinned acrylic paint onto the surface of his canvases. View the artist’s painting, Untitled, featured on the third-floor galleries, and join us in the studio as we create our own abstract poured paintings in the style of Willem de Looper. Dress for mess!
