Thursday, May 11, enjoy music from a Reggae band based in OKC- the Broke Brothers! Starting in late 2009 when two local musicians, John Green and Ron Litsey (Apes of Wrath), began performing together by playing acoustic guitar-only versions of popular Classic Rock/R&B tunes. In 2011 after joining forces with keyboardist Karl Wilburn, percussionist Jahruba Lambeth, horn player John Pappas, drummer Bill Etheridge, and bassist Mike Draper they began performing class rock cover songs and original songs with a rock/jazz vibe and a light rhythmic infusion of reggae.
