Gather your entourage for A Night at the Oscars on Thursday, February 21. Celebrate the 2019 Academy Awards red carpet style with us as we kick off another Third Thursday bash. Create your own award after you walk the red carpet in style. Grab a Grown-up Cherry Limeade at the lobby bar and toast to your favorite film of 2018. Catch a screening of the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, Animation at 5:30 pm or Live Action at 8 pm, and be the first to fill out your Oscar ballot (films are $5 for Museum members and $9 for non-members).
Enjoy live music from Janet Rutland & Scott McQuade as they perform some Oscar Winning songs… as well as some that should have won!
Plus, take an intimate look at another master of the camera, Ansel Adams, in our special exhibition Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West, that features seven prints by the master himself. Want a more in depth look at the exhibition? Get up close and personal in our public tours at 6 pm & 8 pm (tours are $15 for members and $25 for non-members and include Third Thursday admission).
Third Thursday admission is $12 for non-members and free for members.
