Oklahoma City Museum of Art announces programming for its spring fundraiser
OKLAHOMA CITY (February 27, 2025) —The Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA) is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated springtime extravaganza, Art in Bloom, the weekend of April 11-13. This vibrant festival of flowers, presented by Joan Payne, will showcase the work of eighteen Oklahoma floral designers who will transform the Museum’s building with breathtaking botanic installations inspired by the works on display. Visitors can enjoy Art in Bloom beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday through 5 p.m. on Sunday, with a full weekend of special programming.
Also returning this year is Bubbles & Blooms, taking place on Friday, April 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. This exclusive 21+ event will take place on the Roof Terrace. A separately ticketed experience from Art in Bloom, this sophisticated spring celebration invites guests to enjoy stunning downtown views, live music, floral-infused drinks and light bites. Tickets are now available for purchase on the Museum’s website.

Babies at the Museum begins with complimentary coffee and social time in our colorful Family Space. Participants then head to the galleries for a fun-filled thirty minutes with a featured work of art before the Museum opens to the public. The program ends back in the Family Space with age-appropriate activities.
Floral Mosaics

Immerse yourself in the beauty of floral art with a guided painting session inspired by Edward Steichen’s Heavy Roses, Voulangis, France. Step-by-step instruction will help participants blend colors, layer textures, and achieve a moody, atmospheric effect reminiscent of Steichen’s work.
