The Thursday evening experience on the Roof Terrace is a beloved tradition in downtown OKC for many in the community. Over the years, we’ve been honored to celebrate local musical talent with downtown views, opportunities to mingle with friends over a cocktail, and the nightlife of a relaxing Thursday night.
Some would say Thursdays are considered the “first Friday” of the weekend, and we agree Thursdays should be special.
That’s why we’re creating new opportunities for our visitors so they may experience a wider variety of activities, entertainment, and programming during their Thursday night experiences.
We’re happy to introduce a new, refreshing opportunity for the OKC community to engage with local artists, create art, view the galleries, experience the Roof Terrace, hear live local music, and relax with a drink (or two)!
Third Thursday
Mingle with friends, interact with local artists, create your own art, have a drink on the roof, and listen to some great local musicians every Third Thursday at OKCMOA.
Here are some common questions we’d like to clarify so you know what to expect!
How much is admission for Third Thursday?
Admission is $12 for non-members and FREE for members. Additional costs may be applied to food and beverages, art supplies for certain activities, and the cash bar on the Roof Terrace.
Is the Roof Terrace guaranteed to be open the Third Thursday of every month?
The Roof Terrace will be open Third Thursdays weather permitting, but we are certainly scheduling live music and a full cash bar for EVERY Third Thursday.
What if I just want to see the galleries and special exhibitions for $12 and not participate in the extra activities?
Visitors are welcome to simply pay $12 to come and see the galleries and special exhibitions without participating in the themed activities for the evening.
Who should attend Third Thursday?
Everyone! Third Thursday will include a wide variety of programming for date night attendees, families, singles, and people who would just simply prefer to browse the galleries and not engage in the activities.
