I hope you enjoy reading my new blog. In regular updates, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on art, architecture, and a variety of other topics that come my way. Thank you for reading and for your support of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
As we move into a new year, I have been reflecting on works of art I saw that were new, exciting, and provocative—the Venice Biennale and Art Basel Miami being fertile lands for such exploration. Others that struck me were historic, even ancient, and deeply layered in time, place, and meaning.
I’d like to share with you—in no particular order of importance—my personal top ten for 2013.
