Five Corporate Partners Recently Added
OKLAHOMA CITY (October 19, 2023) – The Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA) is excited to announce four new businesses joined its Corporate Partnership program after the Museum recently held its 4th Annual Corporate Partner Breakfast, which was attended by 50 business community leaders. Attendees enjoyed coffee, networking, and downtown skyline views from the Museum’s Roof Terrace.
“Our Corporate Partnership program offers OKC organizations an opportunity to get involved with the arts,” said OKCMOA Development Officer CC Phenix. “We are thrilled to welcome Kimray, Freeman Shelter Insurance Agency, First United Bank, Flight, and WhyHR as our newest Corporate Partners.”
Following a welcome by President and CEO Michael Anderson, PhD, OKCMOA Board Chair Julie Hall shared why she supports the Museum and why art institutions are vital to our thriving community. Attendees also heard from this year’s featured speaker, Collins Peck, executive project manager at Lingo Construction, on why the company has been an OKCMOA Corporate Partner for many years.
“For us to be the city we want to be,” said Peck in his address, “we have to support the arts, and OKCMOA is at the core of that.”
As is tradition, attendees at the breakfast created their own works of art based on OKCMOA’s current special exhibition, True Nature: Rodin and the Age of Impressionism, by sculpting with clay. At the end of the program, attendees had the opportunity to visit True Nature, as well as Chihuly Then and Now: The Collection at Twenty.
