This month, Museum Films highlights visually stunning awards season standouts – including Norway’s official Oscar selection Songs of Earth and Best Animated Feature nominee Robot Dreams – and inventive American indies, like the delightfully lo-fi comedy Free Time and Jane Schoenbrun’s mesmerizing horror-inflected coming-of-age tale I Saw The TV Glow. Our June lineup also includes acclaimed new features from Hong Sangsoo, Tsai Ming-liang, and Marco Bellocchio; a program of restored silent shorts from avant-garde pioneer Man Ray; the first film in our Edith Head series (Preston Sturges’ sparkling screwball comedy The Lady Eve); and the return of the deadCenter Film Festival.
