Museum Films’ annual festival of French cinema returns to the Noble Theater this month with the re-release of Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s enchanting modern classic Amélie and a slate of acclaimed new releases that run the gamut from sparkling comedies and surreal thrillers to award-winning documentaries and vibrant animated features. OKCMOA’s Edith Head Film Series continues with a trio of masterpieces by Alfred Hitchcock and the sun-soaked Elvis musical Blue Hawaii. Our July lineup also features celebrated New York Film Festival highlights Evil Does Not Exist, Music, and Janet Planet; a documentary tour of London’s National Gallery; and additional screenings of the 2024 Best Animated Feature Nominee Robot Dreams.
