The Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s (OKCMOA) biggest annual fundraiser, the Renaissance Ball, will again host DJ Lucy Wrubel for the Late Night after party. Late Night will take place Friday, Sept. 9 at 9:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.
DJ Lucy Wrubel, a world-traveled DJ based in Dallas and named “One of the Top Ten DJs in Dallas” by D Magazine, will headline the Late Night event. DJ Lucy, known as a voracious collector of eclectic tunes, has played a wide variety of exciting events ranging from North Park’s Fashion at the Park in runway tents to Neiman Marcus’ 100-year bash.
“DJ Lucy was so much fun at last year’s event, we knew we had to ask her back again,” said Lawre Everest, this year’s Late Night chair. “We also wanted to encourage our OKCMOA Moderns’ Members to attend Late Night and decided to provide a special discounted ticket price for them this year.” Tickets for Moderns Members are $75. Tickets for the general public are $100.
The Late Night after party takes place immediately following dinner and dancing at the Renaissance Ball. Late Night includes an open bar, light bites, beautiful décor and dancing. Cocktail attire is suggested. Tickets are on sale at www.okcmoa.com. All attendees of the annual Renaissance Ball are invited to stay for Late Night.
“Proceeds from the Renaissance Ball and the Late Night after party help us fulfill our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts,” said Matt Cloud, OKCMOA development director. “Every ticket sold helps us continue to provide the very best exhibitions, programs, events, lectures and films to our community.”
