Self-Guided Tours
Self-guided tours are available year-round during regular business hours for groups of 10 or more people. These visits are ideal for groups wanting to explore the Museum’s special exhibitions and permanent collection independently and for teachers wanting to develop discussions and connections between classroom lessons and the Museum’s works of art.Â
Self-guiding groups can download the Be Your Own Guide document before their visit, or request a printed copy from the Tour Coordinator.
- Due to the high volume of tour bookings, self-guided tours should be requested at least one week in advance. Â
- A minimum of 10 people are required to book a self-guided tour.Â
- To ensure groups have the chance to socially distance in the galleries during their visit, a maximum of 40 people may self-guide in the galleries per hour. Groups wishing to bring a group larger than the maximum may request multiple self-guided visits on the same day upon availability.Â
- The Museum requires school-aged groups to have 1 chaperone for every 10 students. For any questions or concerns please email Tori Waldron, Manager of Teacher and School Programs at twaldron@okcmoa.com.
- The Museum does not require masks, however, visitors are strongly encouraged to wear them while in the building.Â
