Offered on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9-10:30 am, Babies at the Museum is designed for visitors 0 to 24 months and their caregivers.
This program begins with complimentary coffee and social time in the Family Space. After settling in, visitors will head to the galleries for a fun-filled thirty minutes in front of the month’s featured work of art, before the Museum opens to the public. We will wrap up the morning with playtime in the Family Space, where babies can enjoy age-appropriate activities and adults can plan their next Museum visit!
Each month, Babies at the Museum will:
LOOK at works of art
LISTEN to music in the gallery
SING classic children’s songs
PLAY and move
READ books for babies
February’s featured artwork is Untitled by Sam Francis, which can be found in the installation Postwar Abstraction on the third floor.
