An experience that's new every time you return

Welcome from the President

Welcome from the President

See the grandeur of Rome and the magnificence of the Louvre in Oklahoma City! The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is the third and final venue for Roman Art from the Louvre. Organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Musée du Louvre, this monumental exhibition features 184 examples of ancient Roman art and artifacts, including life-size sculptures, sarcophagi, jewelry, mosaics, and more. Be sure to save the date for Roman Art from The Louvre, June 19-October 12, 2008.

And don’t forget to take in the exceptional exhibition Dale Chihuly: The Exhibition. Nowhere in the world will you find a more comprehensive collection of Chihuly glass. Its magic will be memorable, a high point of your visit.

If your visit can include an evening, Thursday through Saturday, or perhaps a Sunday afternoon, we invite you to enjoy a first-run film in OKCMOA's Noble Theater, home to the region's finest independent cinema.

Refer to the Art at OKCMOA section of this Web site for more information about exhibitions, and visit our online calendar for film schedules, events, and updates. Now you can become a fan of the Museum's Facebook page by clicking here. We look forward to your visit.
